Since 2021, Forza Horizon 5 has been delighting racing game fans with its incredible open world based on Mexico, and of course, its unmatched driving mechanics that make it incredibly fun to play.
While you’ve probably had tons of fun zipping through the streets of Mexico (and sometimes off of them), have you ever thought about driving the fastest car in Forza 5?
It’s ok, we feel the same way.
That’s why we put together this list of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5, so you know what vehicles to look for, where you can find them, and how you can get the most out of your Forza Horizon 5 experience.
We hope you’re ready, because it’s time to put the pedal to the metal. Let’s get started!
Note: This list will only be covering the top speed of cars in their stock configuration. It’s possible to tune cars outside of this list to reach a similar level of speed, and also to make these cars even faster.
10. Koenigsegg Regera
Top Speed: 248 MPH
The first of many Koenigseggs on this list is the 2016 Koenigsegg Regera – a 1,500-horsepower, 3,400-pound beast that can go 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Oh, and did we mention it’s a hybrid? Super fast, super cool, and good for the environment? We wouldn’t expect any less from this Swedish automaker.
If you wanted to acquire one of these for yourself in real life, it would set you back about $2 million. Ouch.
Unfortunately, it’s not any cheaper to get one in Forza Horizon 5, but at least it doesn’t cost real money. To get the Koenigsegg Regera in Forza Horizon 5, you’ll need to pay 2,000,000 CR in the Auto Show. Better start saving up those credits!
9. Rimac Concept Two
Top Speed: 258 MPH
The 2018 Concept Two from Croatian automaker Rimac is a sleek, all-electric hypercar with 1,914-horsepower, a 4,300-pound frame, and the ability to sprint up to 60 mph in 1.85 seconds. It has a dedicated electric motor for each wheel to ensure maximum control in even the most stressful situations, which almost justifies its $2.2 million price tag.
In Forza Horizon 5, you can add the Rimac Concept Two to your collection by purchasing it from the Auto Show for 2,000,000 CR.
8. Bugatti Chiron
Top Speed: 261MPH
The Bugatti brand has become synonymous with speed and luxury, but Forza Horizon 5 is probably as close to these incredible cars as most of us will ever get.
The first ‘gatti on this list is the 2016 Chiron – a hypercar with 1,479 horsepower and a 4,400-pound frame that is rated to go 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. This is the first car on the list where you would actually save money buying it in real life versus Forza Horizon 5 (if money was as easy to acquire as FH Credits). Its $2.6 million price tag has been translated into an in-game cost of 3,000,000 Credits in the Auto Show – easily one of the most expensive cars in Forza Horizon 5.
7. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
Top Speed: 267 MPH
Ready for another Bugatti?
Next up we have the 2010 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – a legendary car with 1,200 horsepower, a 4,162-pound frame, and a 0-60 rating of 2.4 seconds. This one comes in slightly cheaper both in the real world and in Forza Horizon 5, with a $2.5 million price tag and an Auto Show price of 2,500,000 Credits.
The signature Bugatti styling is in full effect for the Veyron Super Sport, allowing you to not just cross the finish line in record time, but to also look really cool while doing it.
6. Porsche Taycan Turbo S “Welcome Pack”
Top Speed: 268 MPH
As a car brand, Porsche doesn’t really need an introduction. It’s ingrained into the fabric of car culture and for good reason – its vehicles are among the best to come out of Germany, a country with plenty of competition as far as high-performance cars are considered.
Forza Horizon 5 has a few examples of Porsche engineering, but the only one that made it to this list in the 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S, an all-electric saloon car with all-wheel drive and two electric motors that feed the front and rear axles with 938 horsepower, a 5,082-pound frame, and a 0-60 rating of 2.3 seconds.
To get one a Taycan Turbo S of your very own, you need to purchase the “Welcome Pack” DLC for Forza Horizon 5 to add it to the game, and then purchase it from the Auto Show for 185,000 CR (close to its real-world price of $195,000). That makes it the most affordable car on this list, not taking into account the $4.99 you have to spend on the DLC first.
5. Hennessey Venom GT
Top Speed: 270MPH
The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is another breathtaking hypercar, and while it doesn’t come as cheap as the Porsche Taycan Turbo, it does end up being pretty affordable at just under $1 million.
With 1,244 horsepower and a 2,743-pound frame, the American-made Venom GT can accelerate from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and offers great maneuverability to boot. You can get one from the Forza Horizon 5 Auto Show for 1,200,000 Credits.
4. Koenigsegg One:1
Top Speed: 273 MPH
Koenigsegg makes up the majority of the top spots on this list, and the next one coming in at 273 MPH is the 2014 Koenigsegg One:1 – a car with 1,341 horsepower and a 2,994-pound frame that can accelerate to 60MPH in 2.8 seconds. It’s not the fastest in terms of acceleration, but you’ll find that’s pretty common for these high-end Koenigseggs.
These cost roughly $2.8 million from the dealership, and its Forza Horizon 5 Auto Show price reflects that value, coming in at 2,850,000 Credits.

3. Koenigsegg Agera RS
Top Speed: 277 MPH
Surprise, another Koenigsegg!
This time, we have the 2015 Agera RS, which boasts 1,160 horsepower and a 3,187-pound frame as well as a 0-60 rating of 2.9 seconds.
These have a base price of $2.5 million, but can be kitted out up to $4.75 million for those with deep pockets. Thankfully, it’ll only cost 2,500,000 Credits in the Forza Horizon 5 Auto Show.
2. Hennessey Venom F5
Top Speed: 301 MPH
American automaker Hennessey returns in the number 2 spot on this list thanks to the 2021 Venom F5. This hypercar is fitted with 1,817 horsepower and a 2,998-pound frame with the ability to zip from 0-60 in 1.5 seconds.
These cost around $2.1 million from the dealership, and unfortunately it’s not available in the base version of Forza Horizon 5. To gain access to it, you need to have the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC, which will then make it available in the Auto Show for an eye-watering 3,000,000 AFTER you discover all of the roads on Hot Wheels Island.
They really make you work for this one. Good luck!
1. Koenigsegg Jesko
Top Speed: 308 MPH
The Koenigsegg Jesko is regarded as the fastest car in Forza 5, reaching a top speed of 308 MPH. Its speed and performance make it an excellent choice for players looking to push the limits of the game.
Boasting a 5.0 L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 1,280 horsepower, the Jesko can accelerate its 2,910-pound frame up to a staggering 308 MPH.
Now, while the Jesko is king as far as Top Speed is concerned, it’s not as quick off the line as other cars on this list. Its acceleration leaves something to be desired. But, given the time and runway enough to let loose, it can display some truly impressive speed, both in real life and in Forza Horizon 5.
We hope you saved some of your hard-earned credits for the end of this list, because the Koenigsegg Jesko is also one of the most expensive cars to pick up from the Auto Show. It’ll set you back 2,800,00 CR.
But can you really put a price on that kind of speed? Yes, we can, and it’s cheap. With our Forza Horizon 5 accounts, you can unlock access to incredible cars and start racing with the fastest in no time.
