With Phase 7 of World of Warcraft’s Season of Discovery launching soon, now is the time to get in and prepare for the next chapter of WoW Classic. A tall order, given how much there is to do in WoW SoD.

Don’t worry though, we’ve got your back! To get you started, we’ve put together this guide to get you up to speed on Paladin runes SoD. What they are, where you can find them, and what you need to add them to your inventory and beef up your stats. Don’t forget to read our intro to WoW runes guide.

Let’s get started.

What are Paladin Runes SoD?

Runes are a brand-new mechanic added in WoW Classic’s Season of Discovery – one that allows players to engrave their found Runes on different pieces of armor to unlock new abilities and spells. Tons of runes have been added to the game since Phase 1, and this guide will cover all of the Paladin Runes available up to Phase 6.

Where to Find Paladin Runes SoD

Prior to Phase 6, the process of acquiring Runes required quite a bit of work. There were level requirements, quests, and plenty of general time-wasting involved. Now though, the process of finding Paladin Runes in WoW SoD has been wonderfully simplified. All you have to do is find a Rune Broker – a new vendor that can be found in all major cities – and cough up 1 copper for any Rune you choose. You can start building your Rune collection as early as Level 1! Thanks, Blizzard!

If you’re having trouble finding Rune Brokers, here’s a quick rundown of their general whereabouts:

  • Darnassus – Temple Gardens (28.5, 38.4)
  • Dun Morogh – Coldridge Valley (29.5, 72.1)
  • Durotar – Valley of Trials (42.7, 68.0)
  • Elwynn Forest – Northshire Valley (48.2, 41.5)
  • Ironforge – The Forlorn Cavern (53.9, 14.0)
  • Mulgore – Camp Narache (44.3, 76.7)
  • Orgrimmar – The Cleft of Shadow (49.5, 46.0)
  • Stormwind City – The Dwarven District (57.6, 27.0)
  • Teldrassil – Shadowglen (58.9, 43.7)
  • Thunder Bluff – The Spirit Rise (22.7, 12.6)
  • Tirisfal Glades – Deathknell (31.4, 66.4)
  • Undercity – The Magic Quarter (79.1, 20.0)

Just keep an eye out for an NPC with a curious purple shade and glowing eyes – they’re pretty hard to miss.
